She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Barnard, Sr. and Doris Wheeler Barnard; her husband Donald Strickland; her brothers, Gordon Barnard, Jr. and Robert Barnard; her sisters-in-law, Nancy and Janey Barnard; her grandson Michael; and her great grandchild Jackie Jane.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Baird (Brian Baird), Mark Strickland (Liz Strickland) and Lisa Jardine (Chris Jardine); and her brother Allan Barnard. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
