He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Medeiros; his former wife Angela Medeiros; and his brothers, Rudolph Medeiros and Edmond Medeiros. He is survived by: his wife Shirly Conger; his children, Veronica Walrond (Dickie), Vivian Utz (Jim) and Duarte Medeiors, Jr.; his stepchildren, Mike, Ron, Eric Conger, Jodi Cudney and Linda Kibbe; his grandchildren, Richard W. Walrond V (Maria), James H. Utz, II, Joseph L. Utz (Cassandra) and Jennifer Shifflett (Ricky); and his great grandchildren, Jackson O. Utz, Julia E. Utz, Stephanie M. Walrond, Nora L. Walrond, Connor M. Utz and Faith N. Utz.
