He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry Alther and Margaret Russell Alther (Kincer); and his brother-in-law Earl Mills. He is survived by: his wife Susan Broyles Alther; his children, Willow Lynn Alther and Lewis Thomas Alther (Jeff); and his sisters, Sandra Brown (Mac), Karen Mills and Marsha Rutherford (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great niece and nephews, extended family, and friends.
