He is survived by: his wife Debra Gibson Shelton; his sons, Rodney Shelton (Kathy) and Joshua Shelton (Maggie); his grandchildren, Troy Shelton, Christina, Michelle Lecuyer, Danielle and Lauren Shelton; and his siblings, William "Jim" Shelton (Anna), George "Hap" Shelton (late Agnes Shelton) and Mary "Sis" Bragan Jennie (late Arthur Bragan).
