It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Lincoln Epperly (Madison, Virginia), who passed away on June 6, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy M. Epperly and Lela Epperly (DeMoss); his sister Virginia M. Griffin; Joyce Mather Epperly and Robert M. Epperly.

He is survived by: his children, Cora D. Chlebnikow of Brightwood, Nancy J. Epperly of Richmond, Virginia J. Epperly of Richmond and Wesley L. Epperly of Somerset; his grandchildren, Katelyn E. DeJarnette of Charlottesville, Kelsey E. DeJarnette of Brightwood, Elliott W. DeJarnette of Brightwood, Thomas A. Gardner, II of Richmond and Timothy M. Gardner of Richmond; his brothers, Guy E. Epperly of Farmington, MN and Edward L. Epperly (Ann) of Trona, CA; and his sister-in-law Sandra Epperly of Worcester, MA.. He is also survived by 31 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Literacy Council of Madison County, Inc., 10 N. Main Street, Suite A, Madison, VA, P.O. Box 575, Madison, VA 22727 in his memory.
