She is survived by: her children, Carol DeBuhr (Dale) of Ringold, VA, Nancy T. King of Fairview, TN, Rebecca Bohler (David) of Rochelle, VA, Mary Stallard (Vance) of Lynchburg, VA. and David M. Thompson (Debi) of Rochelle, VA; and her grandsons, Matthew T. Speck, Andrew M. King, David W. Thompson, Jonathan D. Stallard, Joseph Thompson-Sexton, Joshua Thompson-Sexton and Benjamin D. Stallard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mountain View Nursing Home, 1776 Elly Rd, Aroda, VA 22709, where she lived out her final two years of life.
