It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex P. Schrecengost of Manassas Park, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Shirley M. Schrecengost and Alex H. Schrecengost, Jr.; and his brother Douglas Schrecengost (Eileen). He is survived by : his wife Kathleen D. Schrecengost (Kaymark); and his siblings, Gary Schrecengost (Sandy), Darrel Schrecengost (Audrey), David Schrecengost (Sherry) and Ilona Schrecengost Rodgers (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Contributions can be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation or the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer.
