He was predeceased by: his mother Amie Whitmer of Centerville, VA.. He is survived by: his siblings, Buck Whitmer, Edward, Kitty, Jane and Donna; his children, Angela Price (Richard), Albert Whitmer Jr., Dennis Whitmer (Melissa) and Betty Jo Underwood (Robert); and his granddaughter Stephanie Pendleton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Demaine Funeral Home (10565 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Research Hospital.
