It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aurena P. Gillespie (Manassas, Virginia), who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Payne and Kathleen Payne; her husband Clyde; and her siblings, Ackley, Frank, Andy, Pauline, Maxine, Marge and Judy.

She is survived by: her sons, Dan (Kirk), David (Sonja) and Duane (Michelle); her brother Mike Hodgson; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Beck and Judy Payne. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
