She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Reid and Agnes Reid (McGee); and her husband Carl Ritenour. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Peggy Ritenour; and her friends, Emmaus and Carl. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asked the expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Triangle Baptist Church, 4345 Inn Street, Triangle, VA 22072 or Grace Baptist Church, 14242 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge, VA 22193.
