He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nicholas and Susie Miller Gill; his siblings-in-law, G. Carlton Betenbaugh and Marion Roberta Singley (Alva S. Gill); and his significant other Alva Caroline Singley.
He is survived by: his children, Charles "Chuck" W. Gill, Jr. (Judy), Kathleen G. Cortez (Michael) and Thomas A. Gill (Claire); his grandchildren, Caroline, James, Nicholas, Kyle, Connor, Charles and Chris (Wendi); his nephew Tim Sturgeon; and his niece Susan Sturgeon.
