He is survived by: his wife Leanna Christenson of Manassas, VA; his son Patrick Hacker (Kellye) of Ashburn, VA; his sister Carol Quade of Charles City, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew Pottmyer, John Storms, Alayna, Isabella, Maverick Hitteman and Emma Hacker; and his sibling's children, Kristi Wiedrich (Rob) of Rochester, MN and Tim Quade (Gina) of Beauford, SC..
