With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn Tyrell Stewart (Manassas, Virginia), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 61. She is survived by: her parents, Joe Ballard and Tessie Ballard; her sons, Demetrius Stewart and Joshua Stewart; her sisters, Taras Harrington (William) and Makyba Grant (Milton); and her grandchildren, DeVante Paige, Ty'esha Paige, Tatyana Stewart and Amiyah Stewart.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Anne Arundel County Library Foundation in her name in lieu of flowers.
