He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Mae and David Wade; his siblings, Valerie Wade and Clarence "Chubby" Terrell Wade; and his mother-in-law Evelyn Elizabeth Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Robinson Wade; his children, Ira Lonzo Campbell, Patricia Ann Wade (Rayvon), Derrick Alan Wade Jr., Dorothy Ann Bonner (Troy), Ashley Janelle Portee and Jordan Olivia Ayodeji (Savon); his stepsons, John and Denzel Wade; his grandchildren, Raeson Campbell, Nashaun Wade, Dereon Wade, Aniyah Wade, Ramani Wade, Asia Wade, Deliah Wade, Caroline Bonner, Cameron Bonner and Janelle Portee; and his brothers, Brian and Michael Wade. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
