She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Ethel Strader; her stepmother Gladys Smith Strader; her mother-in-law Eula Moore; her siblings, Claudius, Joe Hutchison, Mary Malinda Strader, Virginia Strader Nunn (Ralph) and Margaret Strader Bradford; her aunts and uncles, Lucille (Ditty), Mary Strader, Nancy Shannon, Albert and Cecil Shannon; and her former husband Ralph "Buddy" Moore.
During the pandemic, Dot continued to remain active, attending meetings virtually and providing feedback to experienced and novice teachers.
Memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church in Memory of Dot Moore.
