She was predeceased by: her parents, Glendon Humphrey and Ruth Humphrey; her husband Charles Hanshaw; her grandson Brandon Seely; and her siblings, Kay Byrne and Frank Humphrey.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Hanshaw (Brenda) of Front Royal, VA and Patricia Seely-Buckwalter of Warrenton, VA; her sisters, Marilyn Senkulics (Ted) of Orange City, FL and Diana Turner (Bruce) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Seely, Karlyn Buckwalter and Colin Hanshaw; and her great grandchildren, Isabella Seely and Ivan Seely. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
