With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Filomena Grottola of Manassas, Virginia, who passed away on April 15, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonzio Piccione and Teresa LaPorta Piccione; her husband Antonio Grottola; and her siblings, Anna Grottola and Vincenzo Piccione.

She is survived by: her daughter Anna Massimo; her grandchildren, Marcello, Dante and Gianna Massimo; and her brothers, Antonio and Cosimo Piccione of Italy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
