He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Beumer and Ona Beumer; his wife Mary E. Beumer; and his brother Charles Leroy Beumer. He is survived by: his daughter Trina Beumer of Manassas, VA; and his grandson Tyler Patterson of Manassas. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
