It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennings E. Gilpin of Manassas, Virginia, born in Mount Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Francis Gilpin and Edith Gilpin (McDonough) of Arizona; his wife Emma Sue Curry Gilpin; and his siblings, Charles Gilpin, Jarrett Gilpin and Elaine Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Gilpin, Thomas Gilpin (Ronda) and Robert Gilpin (Sharon); his siblings, Lillian McCabe (Charles, Sr.) and James "Jimmy" Gilpin (Deborah); his grandchildren, Matthew Gilpin of Fairmont, WV, Megan Lehr of Woodbridge, VA, Katie Parkinson of Stafford, VA and Zachary Gilpin of Tucson, AZ; and his great grandchild McKinley Parkinson Clyde Haase.
