He is survived by: his sister Joan Custer (Les); and his daughters, Leah Marshall (Ray), Sarah Hagar (Jason) and Rachel McLaughlin (Travis). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and several friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Heifer International, Feeding America, or to the Robert V McMaugh Memorial Post 10 American Legion in Manassas in John's memory.
