He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Gingles of Torrington, Wyoming. and Mary Cassel of Torrington, Wyoming.; and his parent-in-law Congressman. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa M. Gingles; his grandson Ricky; his great grandchild Elaina; and his brothers, Jim and Joe Gingles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
John Gingles earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, studying on a Ford Foundation Scholarship.
