She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Hawkins of Sewanee; and her brother Wayne Clark. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ben Ryder, Brad, Ryder (Michelle) and Somer Robison (J. R.); her great grandchild Ryan Robison; and her pet Ally.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that, donations be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
