He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emilia Addo; his sons, Carl and Harry; his stepchildren, Kyei and Lena; and his parents, Charles Quaye Bortey and Rebecca Borkor Pio. He was also cherished by his twelve grandchildren, and his five siblings.
