With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph John Angsten Jr. (Manassas, Virginia), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Angsten and Christine Angsten; his family NJ; his wife Marge; his children, Laurie Thompson (Roy), Karyn Martin (Jack) and Joe Angsten (Jessica); his grandchildren, Patrick Thompson (Rachael), Brandon Thompson (Kayla), Jordyn Peachey (Jerry), Jackie Martin, Jaime Martin, Buzz Martin, Joseph Angsten, Michael Angsten (Melissa), Andrew Angsten and Robert Angsten; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Nicholas, Sophia, Colton, Micah, Xavier and Tobias; and his sister Christine Maier. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society at All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
