She is survived by: her children, Katie Lorraine Forness and Kyle Henry Forness; her son-in-law Rob Smith; her granddaughter Alexis "Lexie" Smith (Lexie); her siblings, Thea Ruff of Frederick and Steve Uhlig; her sisters-in-law, Karen of Westminster and Jeanette Uhlig of Naples; and her aunt Kris. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A reception was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
