He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon R. Pleasants and Hazel C. Staples Pleasants; and his wife Sally Pleasants. He is survived by: his sons, Stuart Pleasants (Susan), David Pleasants (Alice) and Gregory Pleasants (Laura); and his grandchildren, Katherine (Kate), Matthew, Jack, Susanna, Adam and Ryan. He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
