He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Newman and Floree Newman. He is survived by: his wife Audry McKendree Newman; his sister Candace Chitty of Winter Park; his children, Kimberly (Martha Brown) of Manassas and Andrew (Jane Nathanson) of Philadelphia; and his grandchildren, Andrew Newman-Brown, Isabel Newman-Brown, Lily Newman and Jacob Newman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to express sympathy to consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to their favorite charity, in Lewis's name.
