“Loren was a colleague and friend throughout our careers, and after. We played morning tennis in the 1970's, hiked the Presidential Range, and went to weddings of other very good friends. He always exhibited wisdom, wit, and fierce devotion to his family and to Michigan football. He fought his illness bravely, I am glad that we attended the Fulton's birtday cellebration this July. “Loren was a dear friend to Pat and me. We will miss him dearly. We were office mates at Exxon Engineering in Florham Park, NJ in early 1970s. I loved Loren’s stories about Michigan and how he helped deliver calves with his dad. Loren was an avid fan of all Michigan sports teams, especially Michigan State Spartans.
