She was predeceased by: her parents, John Everett Cornwell and Anna Mae Cornwell; and her siblings, Carl, Johnny, Edith and Charlie.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Hinkle; her sons, Ken Hinkle Jr. and Jason Hinkle; her grandchildren, Jacob Hinkle (Katie), Joshua Hinkle and Mary Jane Hinkle; and her sisters, Margie Pritchard and Martha Garman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nokesville Methodist Church (12550 Aden Rd, Nokesville, VA 20181).
In accordance with Margarete's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nokesville Methodist Church for outdoor beautification.
