He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Hammond and Grace Hammond (Moses); his wife Diane Didelius; and his children, Sharon (Budd), Janet (Lane), Craig and Mark.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gainesville United Methodist Church (13710 Milestone Ct, Gainesville, VA 20155). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
