He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Elwood Dawson and Dorothea May Stevens Dawson; and his daughter Christina Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Dawson of Manassas; his daughters, Heather Dawson (Curtis Sullivan, Jr.) of Gainesville and Dorothea Dawson of Manassas; and his grandchildren, Cory Dawson, Declan Sullivan and Caitlin Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center (10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
