He was predeceased by: his grandson Russell John "Rusty" Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Jesus and Rusty; his wife Maggie; his children, Russell Lyle Barnes (Linda Ryan) and Kelly Schell Jones; his grandchildren, Spencer Ryan Barnes, Samantha Schell Weidhaas and Kimberly Paige Weidhaas; his sisters-in-law, June M. Martin and Colleen Y. Stivers; and his nieces and nephews, Cheri Visconto (Michael), Brian McManus (Shanda McManus, MD) of Stephen McManus, MD, Michael McManus and Mary Beth Eversman (Michael). He is also survived by his family and many friends.
