She was predeceased by: her daughter Linda Jane Rutherford; her parents, Walter Cook and Elizabeth Cook; and her siblings, Jane Cook, Dorothy Zirkle, Anna Stratton and Don Cook.
She is survived by: her husband William T Mitchell (Bill); her children, Barry Rutherford and Susan Rizzo; her stepdaughters, Christine McCloy and Jennifer Groves; and her siblings, Lois Weimer, Robert Cook, Jim Cook and Richard Cook.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
