He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Rauss and Maxine "Mickey" Rauss; and his grandparents-in-law, John and Sandra Walker. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Kaylin, Conner and Kinley; his siblings, Robert (Carol), Alan (Mary), Ron (Erica) and Lorie Duley (Mike); his brothers-in-law, Justin Hale (Kristen) and Adam Hale (Heather); and his in-laws, Kim and Gary Hale. He is also survived by two nieces and six nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stonewall Golf Course (15601 Turtle Point Dr, Gainesville, VA 20155).
