He is survived by: his wife Patricia McConaha Sutton; his children, Patricia Sutton Hoffer, Penny Sutton Simms, Lorrie Johnson and William Sutton; his grandchildren, Kelley Conners, Lauren Sutton, Andrew Sutton, Chris Hart, Sarah Moyer, Michael Simms, Stephen Sutton, Eric Sutton, Jennifer Sutton and Hannah Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Selah Conners, Nina Conners, Ashtyn Conners, Abigail Moyer, Jacqulynne Simms and Thomas Sutton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stonewall Memory Gardens (12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109).
