She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustine DeGennaro, Sr. and Margaret DiModica DeGennaro; her husband Henry Dodson; and her siblings, Albert DeGennaro, John DeGennaro, Christine Wills, Angie McAlarney, Mary Ann DeGennaro, Margaret Jane Spinazzola and Gustino DeGennaro, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Debra Rehn (late Wallace Rehn), John Dodson (Ruth), Gregory Dodson (Naomi), Mark Dodson (Sheila), Matthew Dodson and Tommy Dodson (Olga); and her siblings, Mary Louise DiRenzo, Jimmy DeGennaro, Joseph DeGennaro, Jeanne DeGennaro, June Alice Osmolinski and Robert DeGennaro. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
