With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raleigh Lee Oakes III (Manassas, Virginia), who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debra L. Snyder Oakes; his daughters, Gretchen E. Oakes and Sara A. Anthony; his grandson Elijah E. Anthony of Manassas, Virginia; his brother Chris S. Oakes of Grottoes, Virginia; and his parents, Raleigh Lee Oakes, Jr. and Louise Rexrode Oakes. He was also cherished by close friends/cousins/extended family.
