She was predeceased by : her parents, William Gillespie and Cleo Gillespie; her husband James Kestner; her former life partner Billy Vannoy; her son Charles Vannoy Sr.; and her siblings, Pansy Stanley, Mike, Rick and Bud Gillespie.

She is survived by : her brothers, Tom and Robert Gillespie; her children, Johnny Vannoy (Debby) and Patty Rose (Donald); her daughter-in-law Debbie Vannoy; her grandchildren, Shanda Bledsoe, Pamela Vannoy, Candace Vannoy, Rose Vannoy, Charlie Vannoy, Rebecca Gallotta and Mike (Amanda Rose); and her great grandchildren, Jalen, Frankie, Lucas, Blake, Trip, Silas, Jase, Scarlett, Julia, Gwendolyn, Arlie, Jonah, Shiloh, Rosalie, Audrey, Saylor and Georgia.
