He is survived by: his wife Martha Jane (Vestal); his son Whitney; his sister Linda Bradford of Fayetteville; his nephews, Nicolas and Steven Bradford; his sister-in-law Sue Hamilton; his nephew William; his great-nephews, Tyler and Jason Hamilton; his brother-in-law Mark; his nibling Gabe Taylor; his sister-in-law Shirley Martin of Jacksonville; and his nieces and nephews, Lee, Scott, Michael, Wayne and Mary Byrd Register of Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations be made in Robert's memory to the American Cancer Society, Dementia Society of America or Alzheimer's Association honoring his lifelong spirit of helping others in need.
