As Roland departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roland. Though Roland may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Mae Satterfield Caton and Howard William Caton of Fairfax Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Roland H. Caton II and Kathleen Elizabeth Gardner (Jason Gardner); his sister Jean Wray; and his sister-in-law Margaret Caton. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (9300 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110-2566).
He attended 11:30am Sunday Mass each week until Parkinson's, disease kept him from traveling.
