Rowena Achurra Obituary

In the early morning of January 10, 2022, Rowena Escobar Achurra was called home to be with our Savior.
Rowena proudly served in the US Air Force from 1993 to 2000 and then furthered her career with the Department of Defense until July 2021.

Rowena was preceded in death by her mother Julieta Beltran Phelps.
Rowena leaves behind her beloved husband Michael Achurra and three extraordinary children Jordan Soriano, Symone Achurra and Loordes Achurra.
Rowena is also survived by her father Sarapin Escobar and her stepfather Michael Phelps. Her siblings Reynaldo Escobar his wife Terry their children Ashland and Aaliyah, Lorena Garcia her husband Johnny their children Hope and Faith and her youngest brother Leonard Escobar.
Rowena also leaves behind in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of very close friends that she called her framily.
A celebration of Rowena's life will follow at a later date.
We will forever keep Rowena's spirit alive and well in our homes, we will stand taller and stronger, because Rowena is watching over each of us.
Our peace comes from knowing Rowena is restored to perfection in God's Kingdom.
