She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bhagwan Das and Parvati Bhatia; her husband Gurbax Bhatia; her sons, Pardeep (Kirti), Rakesh (Anita) and Sanjeev (Vandana); and her grandchildren, Sumeet (Rana), Nidhi (Rohit), Akhil (Anupama), Ruchi (Vikash), Natasha (Pranav), Kunaal (Ina) and Nakul. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
