He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Carter and Catherine Carter; his wife Betty Lou Carter; and his daughter Rhonda Lynn Carter-Williams. He is survived by: his daughter Sabrina Carter (James Foster Sr); his grandchildren, Alan, Bryson, Chase, Jay, J. T., Jaylen and Phoenix; his brothers, William (Barbara), Lloyd and Tony (Connie); his daughters, Natasha and Ashley; and his nieces, Lynette and Sherri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
