He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Amanda Kiefer (Jack) of Manassas and Megan Heuer (Paul) of Plano, Texas; his grandchildren, Maxfield, Nicholas Kiefer and Greta Heuer; and his brother Bradley of Rapid City. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
