It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna M Johnson (Manassas, Virginia), who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verna M Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ella M. Shepherd and Earl Shepherd; her husband Stanley K. Johnson, Sr.; her son S. K. Johnson, Jr.; her sister Mary Ann Heightman of Pittsfield, IL.; and her children, John L. Johnson, Sr. (Nancy) of Gainesville, VA, Robert S. Johnson (Mary Alyce) of Evington, VA and Diana Lee Johnson of Falls Church, VA. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a step-granddaughter and family; and a great-great-grandchild.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, a graveside service and interment will be at Stonewall Memorial Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA 20109, at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Anyone in attendance should adhere to Covid regulations of distancing and wearing appropriate face masks.
