It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Lauren Brooks of Manassas, Virginia, born in Mullens, West Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Franklin and Pauline Hall Brooks; and his siblings, Frank and Frances. He is survived by: his children, William Lauren Brooks (Donna) of Austin, TX and Susan Lynne Burke (Des) of St John; his grandchildren, Ian Brooks, Tommy Brooks (Aspen) and Toni Brooks; his great grandchild Cade Brooks; and his nephews, Frankie and Fred Brooks.
