William Rardin Obituary

William "Bill" Rardin passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021, at the age of 82 in Aldie, Virginia. In recent years, Bill's battle with serious medical issues, displayed his true grit and determination, in facing all of life's challenges. Through the pain, Bill never wavered from sharing his strength, unique charisma, and smile with others.

Born in Sherman, WV to the late Georgia and Paul Rardin. Bill was a loving grandfather and retired truck driver. A US Air Force veteran, devote Mason, member of the Scottish Rite, Past Commander of Dowell Commandery Number 28, and a Shriner.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ann; daughter Amy Gore "Scott"; sons William II and Jon "Natalie"; grandchildren Kylie, Jakob, and Jackson Gore; Alyssa, Paige, and Chase Rardin. Sister Kay Walkinshaw, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Aunts Lorene Wallace and Ann Jackson. Ravenswood, WV class of '57 and Alva Dailey.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA 20110. Funeral along with Masonic Funeral Services will be held at the Pierce Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Internment along with Military Honors will then be held at 1:00 PM at Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 U.S. Ave., Culpeper, VA 22701. In lieu of flowers, Bill's family requests memorials be made to Adler Center for Caring or the hospice of your choosing.
