She is survived by: her fiancé Darrell Thomas; her children, Angel (Vince Battaglia), Sunshine (Shannon Sampson), John Franklin Gross Jr. and Destiny Gross (Fred Langley); her sister Bonnie "Jeannie" Testerman; her grandchildren, Blake Battaglia, Matthew Sayers, Noah Underwood, Alora Battaglia, Ryan Underwood, Logan Gross, MaKinize Gross, Leslie Langley and Olivia Gross; and her great grandchild Oaklynn Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smyth County Moose Lodge (263 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Marion, VA 24354).
