He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Sheets and Lavonne Blevins Sheets; his wife Linda Sheets; and his brothers, Lloyd Sheets, Bradley Sheets and Kecil Sheets.
He is survived by: his son William "Corky" Sheets; his daughter-in-law Carol of Marion, VA; his daughter Margaret "Cookie" Patterson; his sons-in-law, Andy (Delena Estridge) of Marion, VA and Gil of Rich Valley, VA.; his grandchildren, Cody Patterson (Shannon), Trey, Jake Estridge, Grayson and Campbell Sheets; his great grandchild Lawson Patterson; and his siblings, Roger "Chub" Sheets and Polly Barr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedars Baptist Church (1258 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grosses Creek Cemetery.
