It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Jean Thomas Eller of Marion, Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomas and Mary Thomas; and her siblings, Wendell, Darrell, Lendell Thomas and Mary Burnop Hammer.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Eller of Marion; her sons, Joey Kirk (Charlene) of Marion, Randy Kirk of Atkins and Eric Kirk (Tanya) of Saltville; her stepchildren, Sara McGuire (Gerald), Brandy Kelly and Chad Kelly; her siblings, Annie Bell of Marion, Juanita Marlow of Marion, Henry "Butch" Thomas of Marion and Gary Thomas (Regina) of Marion; and her grandchildren, Cameron Kirk, Austin Kirk, Hannah Kirk, Denim Kirk and Candice Berry. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
Brenda was a charter member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Saltville, Va. – helping raise funds by going door to door taking donations to get the church started becoming one of the very first members.
